5. CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

¡¡¡¡Hello everyone!!!! When I finish my studies there are two options: to get a degree in visual arts or to have a mention in something, for example, I would get a mention in painting, that means I would be an expert in painting. To achieve that you have to finish the eight semesters plus four semesters that I did when I entered the career, a kind of basic cycle at the same University of Chile, so I've been in the career for twelve semesters. And I am already in my last year.  I value the practical classes more than the theoretical ones, because I spend more time painting in the workshop than anywhere else. As for the theoretical courses, they are very good, they are very useful to organize your work and understand what you are doing, but I still prefer to paint a lot.  The place where I paint pleases me a lot but it also depresses me. 4. TIME TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE

  Hello everyone!!!  The future scares me and I don't like it, I prefer the past because i still remember my childhood as something happy, I always played and had a lot of fun, I always remember that I liked history, the Greeks, the Middle Ages, among others. When I was a kid I liked to recreate with my toys big battle scenes, for example I was a big fan of the Lord of the Rings, I really like that movie, but I can't imagine traveling there. I remember my grandmother always lent me some very old books and there I saw all the images of soldiers with very shiny and heavy suits, fighting hand to hand. If I could travel back I would go to those places, to Europe before it was called that, specifically I would like to go to England. What I tell you above I tried to reflect in a work for the university, I made four boxes, in it there were pages with drawings and stories, the idea was to create an artistic encyclopedia. 3. MY DREAM JOB

  Hello everyone!!!! I am currently in the last semester of my visual arts degree. I would really like to make a living from what I do and what I am passionate about, art, specifically painting. I know it's hard to work in this field, because it's very difficult to sell one painting, imagine selling many!!!! That would be amazing. My plan to survive apart from developing my paintings is pedagogy, I find it very interesting to be a teacher, I would like in the future to be a teacher at the university or in a school (hopefully in both to have more money). I am also very clear about one thing: "Society does not expect artists". For example, to be a teacher you have to study for at least two years, you have to read a lot and be committed to what you want to teach. I feel that the visual arts have helped me a lot to develop as a person and to understand myself. I think teaching these things is essential for society. 2. The Best Holiday

Hello everyone!!!!   In the summer vacations in February we went to a friend's apartment in Algarrobo, the best thing about that place is that it was in front of the beach (we never used the car). On this trip I went with six friends and we spent five days in the apartment. This trip was very good because we rested, we disconnected, the five days passed very quickly! The best part of this trip was the night walks along the beach, getting up early to see the sun, playing cards and listening to a lot of music all day long. I think it was really a trip to rest, everyone would nap and rest and then go to the beach (we were always on the beach). We also cooked together as vegetarian and vegan. The good thing is that we all did something to tidy up the apartment, so it was the best vacation ever. This trip helped me to distract myself and take a break from college. I also got to know each of my friends better and I was able to share beautiful moments with them.

1. A Country i´d like to visit

Hello everyone!!! The country I would like to visit is the Netherlands, because I like the landscapes and its cities are old, I love that. I know this country thanks to the history of art, what I know most about this country are its painters of the 18th century, for example: Rembrandt, Jan Van Eyck and Johannes Vermeer, my favorites. Also, I know that in the second world war it was a strategic place for the allies to win the war against the Nazis. What I would like to do in Holland is to visit the museums, see Rembrandt's paintings live, it must be amazing. But most of all I would love to paint the landscapes and have my own studio. I would like to make a living from what I am passionate about and study, visual arts, and I would continue studying to complement my work. I would live in the Netherlands and from there I would visit the other countries of Europe.
